Yet another very icy walk around Oakworth but I decided to tackle the steep path from Newsholme Dean up Cat Clough (I thought it might be easier to go up it in these conditions) so I headed for Goose Eye then followed Dean Beck before heading up the big hill. What a fantastic walk! I'll definitely be doing this one again.

The entrance to the quarry which provided stone for Sir Isaac Holden's mansion, Oakworth House on Clough Lane, Oakworth. This was later incorporated as a feature in the gardens of the house.
